Dropbox confirms it was hacked, offers users help
After a two-week investigation, the online file storage service confirms that usernames and passwords were stolen from third party Web sites and then used to access Dropbox accounts.

If you are using Dropbox, change your password and make sure you use a strong password with numbers and special characters. Also if the Dropbox password is the same as other passwords use on other online accounts, change those as well.
